Histoplasmosis - Histoplasmosis is a respiratory disease caused by a fungal spore (histoplasma capsulatum) found in bat and bird droppings. This disease primarily affects the lungs and can resemble tuberculosis. Symptoms of histoplasmosis are high fever, weakness, chest pains, and a dry cough.
