Urban Wildlife Control Definitions

Raccoon Roundworm - A large parasitic worm that lives in the raccoons intestinal tract. Humans usually become infected by ingesting the worm's eggs through accidental contact with raccoon feces. The worm is harmless to raccoons but, can produce severe central nervous system disease in humans, including encephalitis (inflammation and bleeding of the brain).
