Pest Control Operators, or Exterminators, are individuals licensed to deal with bug and termite problems.
Nuisance Wildlife Control Operators, or Animal Controllers, is a person licensed to control wildlife.
PCO's
are licensed by the Georgia Department of Food and Agriculture. NWCO's are licensed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

What types of pests can possibly be damaging my home?

The most common pests found in Atlanta homes are the following: rats (year round), squirrels (fall through spring), raccoons (winter through spring), opossum (winter through spring), snakes (year round, hibernate in the winter), bats (year round, go south in the winter), birds (spring) bees (spring through fall).
*these are typical nuisance seasons*

What form of payment does Urban Wildlife Control accept?

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, check and cash.

Does your company use poison?

Urban Wildlife Control practices humane trapping and wildlife removal techniques, without the use of poison. If poison is used to control an animal problem there are risks of the animal dying inside your home or office. This practice could cause an odor problem. Secondary poisoning of predators, such as cats, is also a concern.

Does rat poison mummify rats or make them thirsty so they go outside to die and won’t cause odor problems?

There are pest control companies that will tell you these false statements. The truth is there is NO such rodenticide. If you allow the use of rodent baits you can rest assured that they will die in areas where they normally frequent: their nesting site, your attic or walls; their food source, your bird feeder; or in between. If you chose poisoning over trapping and exclusion because of cost, you may end up paying a wildlife controller to remove a dead rat from your home, usually, by cutting walls open.

What types of diseases do wild animals carry and are they harmful to humans?

Most wild animals do carry harmful diseases. Animals carry such diseases as rabies, Toxoplasmosis, Histoplasmosis, Salmonella (food poisoning), Rat-bite Fever, Raccoon Roundworm, and Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome, just to name a few.

Does Urban Wildlife Control provide termite, ant and spider etc. extermination?

Insects fall under the category of invertebrate pest control. Urban Wildlife Control technicians are licensed nuisance wildlife control operators and animal damage controllers, we deal with greater Atlanta wildlife removal and bee control only.

Will Urban Wildlife Control assist me with dog or cat issues?

I have found a baby animal will Urban Wildlife Control rehab the animal?

Are there any animals Urban Wildlife Control will not
